This is an update to a post I did back in August 2011(read here).
At the time, the tomato pictured below (which self-seeded in my garden) was 4 months old and hadn’t shown any signs of breaking down or decomposing. It is now 7 1/2 months old and apart from changing colour it’s still completely whole!
Good Grief!!! The unrottable tomato. Have you cut any open to see what they're like inside?
ReplyDeleteNo I haven't but I must admit it's starting to feel a bit squishy. I think its days are numbered. Like you, I have thought about what they must be like inside...
ReplyDeleteFor the record, I've got next seasons' tomatoes forming in the garden. This is one amazing tomato. It has now spanned 2 seasons.
